The world in which we live and work
calls us to look for new ways of living out our charism as Passionist
women, many of whom are working alongside people whose lives have been
threatened and diminished by the values and structures of present day
society.
We are challenged to encourage marginalised people to
become shapers of their own future. By participating with others we endeavor
to change unjust structures, social enequality, world debt, globalisation
and the destruction of our planet. As women we are drawn in particular
to the empowering of other women. We draw our inspiration and strength
from the love of Christ for all peoples which enables us to be agents
of change in our world. We believe our efforts to bring about this change
will be enhanced by joining with our Passionist Brothers in the cause
of justice and peace that goes to the heart of our shared charism.
