Human Rights Council - Working Group on Agenda and Working Methods, 15-19 January 2007, Geneva
The HRC Intersession Open-Ended Working Group on Agenda and Working Methods will meet between 15 and 19 January 2006 in Room XVII of the Palais des Nations. All working documentation is available on the OHCHR extranet http://www.ohchr.org/english/bodies/hrcouncil/form.htm. Short daily summaries of the proceedings will also be provided on the CONGO website http://www.ngocongo.org/index.php?what=news&id=10353. Roundtable on international environmental governance, 17 January 2007, Geneva.

The UNEP Economics and Trade Branch and the Geneva Environment Network have the pleasure of inviting you to a roundtable on international environmental governance http://www.ishr.ch/hrm/council, which will explore two of central policy issues to be discussed at the UNEP Governing Council next February. The roundtable will take place Wednesday 17 January 2007, from 9:00-13:00, on ground floor of the International Environment House building 2.

NGO Forum for Health, 18 January 2007, Geneva

In view of the upcoming WHO EB, the NGO Forum for Health convenes a meeting on "Partnering to Make Health a Reality - Promoting Equity and Justice in Health Care" http://www.ngocongo.org/index.php?what=doc&id=1017. Debating NGO Accountability, 19 January 2007, New York

The United Nations Non-Governmental Liaison Service (UN-NGLS) and the Ford Foundation invite you to a Panel Discussion on NGO Accountability http://www.ngocongo.org/index.php?what=doc&id=1018, to be held on Friday 19 January 2007 in Conference Room 4 at UN Headquarters. The Panel Discussion will take place in conjunction with the joint launch of NGLS' Development Dossier "Debating NGO Accountability" and of "NGO Accountability: Politics, Principles and Innovations".

International Aid and Trade, 24-25 January 2007, Geneva PALEXPO

The International Aid and Trade will convene 24-25 January 2007 at Palexpo in Geneva. 130 exhibiting organisations, more than 50 experts speaking in informative Workshops will gather to address the challenges faced by the humanitarian relief community and to encourage increased coordination and cementing partnerships between governments, UN agencies, aid agencies, development banks and business.
